Membership at Beth Torah

There are many benefits to membership in Beth Torah.  We have a diverse population and a welcoming environment for all.  Beth Torah offers an active variety of family activities and a full schedule of Shabbat and holiday observances.  Our Religious school offers quality instruction in a nurturing setting.  We have assistive listening devices and large print prayer books, and our building is handicapped accessible.  Below you will find our very reasonable dues structure and links to download an application to join us.  For further information please call (301) 927-5525. Dues Schedule unchanged since 2008-2009 We offer two levels of membership:   Family and Single For new members, the first year is offered at approximately one-half of the regular membership.   New Applicants First Year Continuing Members Single $385 $770 Family $770 $1540 Beth Torah's Fiscal Year runs from May 1 to April 30. Dues may be paid monthly, quarterly, or in a single payment. No one is denied membership because of financial difficulty.  Requests for special financial arrangements must be renewed annually by contacting the Rabbi, President, or Vice President for Finance.  All requests are treated in complete confidence and are finalized in writing each year.
